Spiritual jazz from Atlantis Jazz Ensemble. Released in 2023. A jazz quintet. Hooked from the opening bass notes and repeated theme played on trumpet. The electric piano joins in bringing flashbacks to the late 1970's. These sounds get inside of me, reminding of often forgotten days long ago .... an evening drive home after a surprise visit and meal with a good friend. Fences mended. Afterwards feeling hopeful.
Beautiful cover design and photo.
